DSG stands for Data Storage Gateway It's a Linux appliance hosting ezSense2 software.

Is the core of Weolo® kit, connected to the Wireless Sensor Network, acquires and analyzes measures and sends alarms to any available by text message* or email.
Can be connected to Ethernet networks, wireless LAN, UMTS, GPRS/GSM*.
The DSG runs ezSense2, the software which manages measures and make them available through an intuitive web interface.
Access to ezSense is password protected and profiled with a set of predifined roles.
Acquired measures can be plotted in exportable graphs and tables in the CSV format compatible with most popular spreadsheets.
Events detected by the system, such as exceeding thresholds set on the probes, can be notified by SMS* or email.
ezSense2 permits WSN sensors registration and configures operative parameters: sample rate and thresholds configuration, individual channels activation, sampled measures management.

ezSense2 can also perform the following tasks.

• Setup shifts for operators that will receive some system events notification by email or SMS*
• Plan email sending with attached measures
• Configure the basic DSG features like Ethernet network, modem and GSM/UMTS*
• Manage users who can login to ezSense2, and profile them
• Keep the system updated with the packages released by Weolo®
