WEOLO System

The system’s components are: sensors, routers and DSG (Data Storage Gateway)

Devices communicate through a WSN (Wireless Sensor Network) using the 868Mhz ISM band.

Sensors transmit measures, read from the probes, to the DSG. Indoor and outdoor sensor’s housing are available.

Routers increase radio coverage bringing the maximum distance achievable between DSG and sensors up to 2.4Km (six routers in cascade).

DSG (Data Storage Gateway) is  the main unit which can be connected in a local network (Ethernet or WiFi), or in a mobile environment UMTS/GPRS, GSM.

DSG receives and records measures from sensors, analyzes exceeding thresholds and WSN health, notifies events by eMail or SMS  if shifts has been set up.

Its web based interface can be used to configure and manage the system, plot charts, view data in tabular form, export the measures in CSV format (compatible with Microsoft Excel®).

C-Labs WINE

Weolo wireless sensor network is built using this wireless protocol. WINE is developed for short range, low power device network. All the nodes are battery operated, including routers. Each device can establish an "always on" bidirectional connection with its parent (base station or routrer).
